In the series "Self-portraits", blind children use a trigger device to capture their image.

The fascination of those children resides primarily in the experience of the photographic act where the texture of the trigger and the sound of the camera's shutter become the most significant stimuli of the session.

What interests me most about this series is how exceptional is the perception of identity in a blind child, given that it is not fully aware of the visual image of its body , which allows a transparency of the personality reflected in the photographies.
